We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer for a contract position through the end of the year (potential extension). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and configuring ServiceNow modules, with a strong emphasis on IT Service Management (ITSM), Virtual Agent, or IT Operations Management (ITOM). You will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality ServiceNow solutions that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and configure ServiceNow modules including ITSM, Virtual Agent, or ITOM based on business requirements.
• Build workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integration scripts.
• Customize ServiceNow's Virtual Agent chatbot to enhance self-service capabilities.
• Implement CMDB and Discovery in ITOM environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other developers to gather and refine requirements.
• Conduct unit testing and assist in UAT, deployments, and documentation.
• Ensure ServiceNow best practices, performance optimization, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Support incident resolution, enhancements, and upgrade planning related to ServiceNow features.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong background in at least one of the following:
• ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge)
• Virtual Agent (NLU models, topic design, integration with backend workflows)
• ITOM (Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, Service Mapping)
• Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and web technologies (HTML, CSS).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); other certifications a plus (ITSM, ITOM, Virtual Agent, etc.).
• Experience integrating with third-party systems (e.g., monitoring tools, ticketing systems).
• Exposure to ServiceNow App Engine or Automation Engine is a plus.
