We're looking for a Manager, Procurement, Contracts and Travel to lead delivery of procurement and travel functions for AUSTRAC. You'll step into an influential role shaping financial and corporate governance, strategic planning and performance, and program management. To support our AUSTRAC's goals and reporting obligations, you'll bring a calm, measured approach in assessing data and optimising value for money. As a visionary leader, you'll bring fresh new perspectives and challenge ideas to uplift processes and systems. You'll also be guiding and developing a small team creating an environment where people feel empowered and encouraged to contribute their best ideas.

What are we looking for
While we are looking for these attributes, we consider transferrable skills and encourage applicants who embody AUSTRAC's culture and values to apply.
Process relevant qualifications such as a Certificate IV or Diploma in Government Procurement and Contracting.
Well-developed understanding of legislation, policies, guidelines and the Commonwealth Procurement Framework.

Key Duties
Manage procurement function to ensure value for money and compliance with Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act).
Manage effective travel function and compliant with the Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) Travel Policies.
Identify and implement continuous improvements.
Deliver AUSTRAC's procurement reporting obligations.
Provide accurate reports for external reporting and executive briefing.
Advise on procurement and contract managements including the development of strategies, tender processes and contract negotiations.
Lead and develop of procurement and travel teams.
Affirmative Measures
This vacancy is being advertised concurrently under a general round, an affirmative measures disability round and an affirmative measures indigenous round.
Evidence of eligibility will be requested if your application progresses under an affirmative measures process.
