Health, Safety & Environment Manager – Complex Operational Site (Eastern Regional VIC)
A senior safety leadership opportunity has opened up at one of the most complex operational sites in Eastern Regional Victoria. This nationally recognised organisation is seeking a capable and resilient HSE Manager to lead the function, working closely with site leaders and supporting a team of advisors and specialists.

This is a large-scale, high-risk site with 24/7 operations, involving heavy infrastructure, plant, and field-based work. You’ll be responsible for leading the safety team and partnering closely with operational leadership to drive improvement across health, hygiene, and safety systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of advisors, hygienists, and HSE support staff
• Champion a proactive, practical approach to site safety
• Oversee risk management, critical control monitoring, and compliance
• Ensure readiness for audits, inspections, and external engagement
• Lead incident investigations and support continuous improvement
• Deliver and adapt HSE programs to suit site operational needs

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in HSE leadership within high-risk or complex operations
• Ability to engage effectively across leadership and frontline teams
• Strong understanding of risk, safety systems, and compliance frameworks
• Collaborative, hands-on leadership style
• Tertiary qualifications in WHS or related field

The Offer:

• $215,000 – $225,000 TFR + 12.5% bonus opportunity
