About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our national team. In this key role, you will lead the growth of our services by building strategic referral networks and converting leads into participant placements. You will work closely with families, Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators (LACs), and allied professionals to promote Caring Australia’s offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across all disability support streams, especially SIL

Develop and manage strong referral pipelines through Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, LACs, hospitals, and community organisations

Represent Caring Australia at networking events, conferences, and expos to increase brand visibility and lead generation

Conduct property tours and participant onboarding meetings

Provide tailored service quotes and proposals in line with participant goals and NDIS funding

Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of leads, conversions, and stakeholder engagement using a CRM

Requirements

Extensive experience in the NDIS sector, ideally in a business development, intake, or support coordination capacity

Strong working knowledge of SIL, ILO, and SDA funding models and participant pathways

Proven ability to build meaningful relationships with a wide range of stakeholders

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills

Ability to work autonomously, prioritise competing demands, and meet targets

Willingness and flexibility to travel interstate regularly

Current Driver’s License

NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
