About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Senior Hairdresser & Barber to join the team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair cutting, colouring and styling services to our diverse clientele, as well as supervising and mentoring junior stylists.

Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

Providing high-quality haircutting, colouring, styling and barber services to clients

Advising clients on the latest hair trends and recommending suitable treatments and products

Ensuring a superior level of customer service at all times

Helping Junior Stylists develop their skills and techniques

Maintaining a clean and organised work station, ensuring all tools and equipment are well-maintained

Actively participating in team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry trends and salon policies

About You

Along with your strong work ethic and previous experience in a similar role you'll have/be:

Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident

Living within a reasonable driving/public transport distance to the salon

Certificate 3 in Hairdressing is the minimum requirement

3 years' experience as a qualified hairdresser or barber in a professional salon environment

Excellent technical skills in hair cutting, colouring, styling and barber services

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients

Passion for the hair and beauty industry and a commitment to continued professional development

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
