About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate Accountant to join our dynamic team at Vanguard Insolvency Australia Pty Ltd in Sydney, NSW. As a Graduate Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing financial services and support to our clients within the Insolvency & Corporate Recovery industry. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports

Conducting detailed financial analysis and providing recommendations to support business decisions

Participating in the implementation of insolvency and corporate recovery processes

Liaising with clients, creditors, and other stakeholders to gather and verify financial information

Providing administrative support to the broader Insolvency & Corporate Recovery team

Continuously learning and developing your technical and problem-solving skills

What we're looking for

A recently completed degree in Accounting or Law or a related field

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify solutions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team

Familiarity with relevant accounting software and financial reporting tools

A keen interest in the Insolvency & Corporate Recovery industry and a desire to develop your expertise

Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail

Great Microsoft Excel Skills
