This permanent part time position is 33 hours per week (38 during vac care), with a probation period. The Director is required to be available to work before school care 6:45-8:45am, after school care 1:30-6:00pm and vac care & pupil free days 6:30am -6:00pm.
As the OSHC Director, you will oversee the service, ensuring high-quality care, engaging programs, and regulatory compliance. Your role includes providing pedagogical leadership, mentoring educators, fostering community relationships, and building trust with families. Your leadership and commitment to excellence will be key to the success of our OSHC service.
The director is accountable to Enfield Primary School and its Governing Council for the overall operation, management, and administration of the OSHC and vacation care service, ensuring that:
· the service meets requirements of the National Quality Framework (NQF) under the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations
· all relevant legal and statutory requirements are monitored, complied with and implemented
· the philosophy, policies and procedures of the service are upheld, implemented and reviewed regularly to meet relevant requirements
· pedagogical leadership is provided to ensure quality care, recreation and leisure programs for children, and direction, support and continuous learning for staff
· a vibrant, interesting, varied and appropriate children’s program is developed and implemented to meet the needs of all children and families of the OSHC / vacation care community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
· Leadership experience, including supervising staff and managing complex situations.
· Experience supporting children with additional needs.
· Strong organisation and time management skills.
· The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion. Well-developed observation and reporting skills.
· Experience in administrative duties related to OSHC operations.
· A passion for working with children and supporting their individual needs.
· The ability to model and teach appropriate behaviours while providing proactive support for children.
· A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and My Time, Our Place framework.
· Experience using central booking platform Spike (or equivalent)
Required qualifications and certificates:
· Diploma or Degree level qualification as approved by ACECQA.
· Working with Children Check (WWCC)
· Mandatory Notification training (RRHAN-EC)
· First aid qualifications as approved by ACECQA: HLTA012 with Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training or willing to obtain prior to commencement
· Spike bookings/billing (CCS purposes)
· Food Safety Training (or willingness to undertake).
