Our large service is needing a qualified educator to support our Director and Assistant Director

Commencement- As soon as possible

Permanent Part-time Position level 4.1 $32.00 per hour with level 5.1 shifts as required. (minimum 25 hours per week)

Qualified Role -

The role will provide support to both the Director and Assistant Director with the day-to-day operations of the Service, providing leadership to the team of Educators & ensuring high quality education & care. The role is perfect for an experienced OSHC Director wanting to reduce hours or an experienced OSHC person wanting to gain leadership experience in a well established and supportive environment.

The successful person will have the skills and abilities:

to support the service's Educational Leader

to provide an environment that is engaging, secure, hygienic, and safe for children aged 4-12 years

to create and execute programs

to plan a weekly menu for children

to ensure adherence to the National Quality Standards, other relevant legislation guidelines, the Company's policies, and procedures in a timely manner

to liaise with families, school staff, and colleagues to build strong relationships across the school community

to be resourceful and use initiative

to create a welcoming environment and a positive workplace

to support children with additional needs

to work in Before School, After School, Vacation Care and admin outside of operating hours.

have competent computer skills

to follow direction and act on constructive feedback

excellent written and verbal communication

to work independently in the Director’s absence

a strong understanding of My Time Our Place and the National Quality Standards

highly developed observation and reporting experience

OSHC Administrative skills will be highly regarded

The Essentials

Diploma or Degree level qualification as approved by ACECQA

Hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Completed Responding to Abuse and Neglect (RAN) training

HLTA012 with Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training or willing to obtain prior to commencement
