We are currently seeking a Coordinator Strategic Planning to join our Community Planning Service which plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Shire and guiding land use and development in a way that respects our unique environment, heritage, and community aspirations.

In this role you will be a key member of the team, providing leadership and expertise in the formulation and implementation of the Shire's strategic land use vision. You will be instrumental in developing and refining our strategic planning framework, ensuring it aligns with the Shire's overall objectives and the evolving needs of our community. You will have the exciting opportunity to lead the development of a new Local Planning Strategy and Local Planning Scheme. This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker with great communication skills and a strong understanding of Western Australian planning legislation and best practices.

A salary in the range of $105,751 to $111,207 will be offered dependent on skills, ability and experience as well as a range of benefits including:
