The ideal individual will have proven case management experience, supervisory and leadership qualities in guiding a small team, and working with contractors would be highly desirable. The role will need to have the ability to mentor others and hold a high level of emotional intelligence to work effectively with a widely diverse professional pool of contractors and vulnerable clients within our service.

You will be committed to working with a team, working alongside professional contractors and practitioners, supporting innovation, and giving and receiving feedback to enhance your practice and that of others. This role is a hands-on role where direct work with the client and case management is a must.

A high level of coordination and communication is paramount to support the coordination of practitioners and work allocation. A good understanding of working with complex families, young people, or disabilities is required. NDIS coordination skills are welcome.

This position will be active across Beenleigh, Gold Coast and the surrounding areas.

Consideration for permanent part-time hours 25+ instead of full-time may be available for the right candidate. The Brisbane North office base and your home office are the main locations of work, and travel is required to meet clients and practitioners. An attractive remuneration for travel is paid in addition to the salary, and the opportunity for state travel is available and paid for by the organisation. This role requires hands-on case management and direct intervention with families in their own homes.

The position requires a highly competent individual who is motivated to succeed and passionate about people. Also, strong communication skills, knowledge of Child Protection legislation, trauma-informed care, proven experience in case management and sound decision making, and supervisory skills to work effectively with the leadership team and contracted professionals.

You must be committed to progressive case management, ensuring the case management principles and processes are inclusive, individualised, and driven with passion and creativity. All practitioners will work from the Flourish Community Solutions chosen practice framework and be guided by the specific program outline.

Our chosen Frameworks originate from Europe and the USA, and guidance and training will be provided. Our professionals are expected to incorporate these frameworks whilst working from their Professional practice models appropriate to their field of work. A strengths-based practice approach and person-centred working are required for success with Flourish Community Solutions. We walk alongside our clients, guiding their journey, wherever that may be, and we expect that our Coordination and Practice team is committed and driven to this style of working.

Qualification Requirement:

- Tertiary level Degree qualified in a specific field (social work, family intervention, youth work, psychology, mental health, etc.)

- Case Management experience - required

- Supervisory & leadership experience - highly desirable

- Experience in the field of 2 years or more
