About the Role
Are you building trade qualified, with experience managing the delivery of building maintenance works programs seeking an ongoing role?
An autonomous and challenging Asset Project Officer role currently exists within the Business Services Team at CFA, which is responsible for the management of the substantial CFA real estate assets portfolio.
Located in Ballarat or Melton this fixed term role (ending 19.6.2026) offers a variety of responsibility which will enable you to develop a breadth of knowledge and exposure within CFA. Reporting to the Manager Asset Services, you will ensure the consistent high-quality delivery of all brigade maintenance services in accordance with the State-wide Managed Maintenance Program and manage minor works projects.
About You
The ideal candidate will be building or trade qualified, with experience managing the delivery of building maintenance works programs, supervision of minor works projects, building construction and/or facilities management.
Additionally, you will be able to manage concurrent projects within budget, quality and time parameters with knowledge of building regulations, town planning processes, building and tendering and contracting processes. Experience in utilising maintenance/assets management reporting and data management systems including SAP and Microsoft Office will be advantageous to this role.
Key to this role is the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, write technical reports and supervise minor building construction works.
