We are a well established Australian software developer and supplier of computer systems to retail stores, with an expanding presence both nationally and internationally. Our software solutions power retailers across a range of industries, delivering robust tools for inventory, sales, reporting, and more.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Software Developer to help maintain legacy systems and contribute to the evolution of our modern applications.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Developer proficient in Visual Basic 6 (VB6) and modern C#.NET development. This role involves supporting and enhancing legacy systems while actively contributing to ongoing projects using modern development tools and practices.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance existing systems written in VB6 and C#.NET.

Develop new features, services, and integrations using C# and the latest Microsoft development tools.

Work with SQL Server and Microsoft Access databases for application and reporting functions.

Participate in DevOps processes including version control, builds, and deployments.

Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver stable, well-documented solutions.

Requirements

Solid experience with VB6 and C#.Net.

Strong proficiency in Visual Studio development environments.

Working knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, such as version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and issue tracking.

Experience with SQL Server and Microsoft Access databases.

Good debugging, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Ability to manage time effectively and communicate clearly with team members and clients.

Desirable Skills (Strong Advantage)

ASP.Net, MVC, WPF

Web Services (REST/SOAP)

Experience in POS or retail software environments

Familiarity with cloud services or deployment automation

What We Offer

Full-time role with a salary of $70,000 – $90,000, depending on skills and experience.
