We’re looking for a warm, passionate Diploma Qualified Educator to join our well-loved Tall Tree Early Learning Centre located in Landsdale. About the Role:

As a Diploma Qualified Educator (or Working Towards Diploma) at Tall Tree Early Learning Landsdale, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and care for children aged 0 to 5. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team of educators to plan and implement engaging learning programs that cater to the developmental needs and interests of each child. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in ongoing professional development, work in a supportive environment, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere that fosters the growth and well-being of all the children in our care.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate learning programs.
  • Foster supportive and positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Support children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development through guided activities and play.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment that meets the needs of all children.
  • Observe and document children’s progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care.
  • Assist in managing daily routines and transitions to ensure smooth, positive experiences for children.
  • Uphold all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including child protection and health and safety standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic educator working towards their Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or holding an equivalent qualification).

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be working towards or hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and have a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Have experience in curriculum development and programming, with the ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children.
  • Be passionate about supporting children’s holistic development, including emotional, social, and cognitive growth through play-based learning.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Lead and collaborate in a team-based environment, providing support to colleagues and mentoring where appropriate.
  • Be proactive, compassionate, and always focused on the safety and well-being of the children.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to professionalism, adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including child protection, health and safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Be flexible with your working hours and committed to providing consistency and continuity of care for children.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, continually improving your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
  • Have a positive, team-oriented attitude, and take initiative in fostering a collaborative work environment.
