WHS Advisor - Northern NSW

We’re recruiting a WHS Advisor on behalf of a respected, purpose-led organisation that partners with regional communities to improve safety, wellbeing, and workforce risk outcomes.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Ballina or the surrounding Northern Rivers region. You’ll work closely with a range of mult-site, delivering practical WHS advice, training, and programs that strengthen safety performance and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert WHS advice and guidance to a portfolio of regional clients

Develop and deliver safety programs, training sessions, and resources

Support the implementation and improvement of safety management systems

Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners

Monitor WHS performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Travel regularly across Northern NSW to support member organisations on site

About You:

Extensive experience in WHS advisory or operational safety roles

Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, frameworks, and systems

Comfortable working both independently and within a collaborative team

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

Sector experience in local government, public sector, consulting, or high-risk industries preferred

Flexibility to travel regionally and build strong on-the-ground relationships
