About the Roles
We have 2 x Position of Leadership roles ranging from POL 1 - POL 4, overseeing a team of Learning Support Officers.
The successful candidate will provide exemplary leadership to the Learning Diversity Department, advocating for and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
This position will lead, develop and implement policies, procedures and interventions supporting the teaching and learning of students with diverse needs. This position will also have the responsibility to identify and monitor the progress of students with diverse needs and ensure the development of appropriate, clear and well communicated interventions, programs and Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs).
The Learning Diversity Leader will coordinate and lead staff in the Learning Support department and collaboratively plan and support the professional development of teachers. Further, they will collaborate with internal and external agencies, i.e. OT, Speech Pathology Providers, etc to implement effective strategies and support diverse learning.
Key Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will have:
Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or Australian interstate equivalent;
Strong interpersonal skills in the context of relating to staff, students, parents and guardians, College support groups and members of the community;
Highly developed communication, planning, decision-making and negotiation skills; and
Appropriate expertise and experience in the areas of Teaching & Learning.

• $135,000 - $150,000 (including super) + Generous Time Allowance
