Storesperson / Forklift Operator

The Company:
Our client, an Australian-owned company based in Braeside, specialises in the design and manufacture of fan-cooled braking and power resistors, which are integral to Victoria’s newest fleet of trains. With a strong commitment to quality and innovation, they ensure their products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability across a wide range of industries.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Cycle counting and date entry into Kanban system
• Inventory control
• Forklift operations - putaways up to 4 bays high
• Relocating pallets in the warehouse
• Loading / unloading trucks
• Quality control
• Picking / packing

The successful candidate will require the following attributes:

• Solid forklift experience - valid LF licence
• High reach experience - beneficial
• Experience in receipt & despatch warehouse operations
• Be willing to undergo medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Be physically fit for manual handling
• High attention to detail
• Intermediate computer skills required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a team player and reliable

Hours and Rate:
8am till 4pm Monday to Friday
OR
7am till 4pm Monday to Friday, with an RDO every 2nd Friday
$37.95 per hour + superannuation
