Aboriginal Cultural Centre opening in the Western Suburbs in June 2025, our client is seeking Casual Café/Kiosk Staff to help deliver a warm, welcoming, and culturally respectful visitor experience.

As part of the Centre's commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural leadership and community engagement, this is an Identified Position, and we strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people

Shifts available: 10:00am - 2:00pm, 7 days/week

Pay: $45-50 per hour + weekend penalties

Key Responsibilities

Deliver friendly and professional front-of-house service in the café

Prepare and serve coffee, tea, cold drinks, and pre-packaged food

Operate the café point-of-sale system and manage transactions

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all café areas and equipment

Assist visitors with general enquiries and retail shop purchases

Support a culturally safe, inclusive, and team-oriented environment

What We're Looking For

Experience in a café, kiosk, hospitality or customer service role

Food Safety & Handling Certificate (essential)

Barista skills or experience using coffee equipment (desirable)

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) (desirable, not essential)

Excellent communication skills and confidence in public-facing settings

Ability to work collaboratively in a busy team environment
