About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to deliver Clinical Pharmacy services on a rotational basis to multiple speciality Pharmacy work units, Multidisciplinary teams and the Dispensary within The Prince Charles Hospital and other facilities throughout Metro North Health and to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health in accordance with organisational goals.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of a more senior clinician.
- Work cooperatively and effectively within the Pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams and with patients/clients.
- Provide clinical education pertaining to routine tasks for students and clinical practice supervision to less experienced staff with the support of a senior clinical staff.
- Participation in medication safety initiatives, medicines usage evaluation, collection of key performance indicator data, and other medication management quality improvement activities where appropriate.
