Care Manager – Aged Care

Are you an experienced care manager or aged care nurse ready to step into a leadership role? We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated Care Manager to lead clinical operations and ensure excellence in care at a well-regarded aged care facility.

About the Role:
As Care Manager, you will oversee the clinical care team, ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, and support residents in achieving the highest quality of life. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a Registered Nurse with strong clinical skills and a passion for mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support a team of nurses and care staff

Ensure high standards of clinical care and documentation

Oversee assessments, care planning, and reviews

Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements

Work closely with the Facility Manager and families to support residents’ needs

Drive quality improvement and staff development initiatives

Requirements:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Previous experience in aged care (2+ years preferred)

Leadership or Care Manager experience highly regarded

Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Police Check and evidence of COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
