About the role

CVWF are seeking experienced Boilermaker's and 3rd or 4th year apprentices to join our team in East Bendigo, Victoria. As a Boilermaker, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and maintenance of a wide range of structures and equipment. The position is casual for 3-month trial, with the potential to go full time, offering competitive pay and excellent opportunities for career development within our growing organization.

What you'll be doing

Interpret and work from engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications to fabricate, assemble, and repair a variety of structures and equipment

Perform welding, cutting, and fitting tasks using a range of welding techniques and equipment

Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery

Collaborate with the wider team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard and within deadlines

Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment

A mix of site and workshop work

What we're looking for

Formal qualification as a boilermaker

Extensive experience as a Boilermaker, with a strong understanding of welding techniques, metal fabrication, and machinery operation

Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Excellent problem-solving and technical skills

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Good communication and interpersonal skills

dogging/rigging/ewp highly advantageous

MUST hold construction induction license

MUST be able to pass drug and alcohol screening

MUST hold valid and current forklift license
