We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Application Support and Sustainment Resource to join our dynamic team. The primary goal of this role is to support and sustain our critical applications, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. The key applications in focus are Azure Monitor and AppDynamics.
As an Application Support , you will be responsible for monitoring application health, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to enhance performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous availability and efficiency of our applications. Utilising Agile methodology, you will participate in regular sprints and stand-up meetings, contributing to the iterative improvement of our systems.
Location: Melbourne or Ballarat
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 inclusive of super
Key responsibilities
Include Software development, configuring and maintaining monitoring tools, analysing performance data, and providing timely resolution of incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application support, Application development, experience with Azure Monitor and AppDynamics, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the stability and performance of our applications, supporting the overall success of our operations.
Additional Requirements:
Security Clearance Requirement: Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance - NV1.
This requirement ensures that all team members are cleared to handle sensitive information and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security in our operations.
On-call and Shift Expectations: This position is primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure). Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction.
