The opportunity

Join our Strategy and Policy team in this 24-month FTC!

The position coordinates the WaterSmart program and assists with the delivery oversight of water efficiency programs within GWW. The position will inform GWW’s approach to water efficiency in the 2027 Urban Water Strategy and 2028 Pricing Submission.

Responsibilities

Partnering with Business Relationship Managers on outreach to GWW non-residential customers for the Water Smart program delivery

Coordinating the program management, governance, including monitoring and reporting.

Investigating and developing new water efficiency guidance and approaches.

Exploring connections between water efficiency programs and drought planning.

Collaborating with water corporations on WaterSmart and aligned water efficiency initiatives.

Working with the internal team to develop communications and engagement approaches to maximise the program uptake.

Skills & Experience

A good understanding of environmental, water resource, and water efficiency issues.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, influence and engagement skills.

Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint

Demonstrated experience in project coordination activities or large programs of work in an agile and changing environment with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

A current valid Victorian driver’s licence would be advantageous.
