About Me
Hello! I am a 25 year old female with Borderline Personality Disorder and history of trauma. I am looking for a friendly Support Worker to assist me in achieving my NDIS goals. I would like a Support Worker who likes playing video games and loves watching horror movies, I would also like someone I can go shopping with!

The Role
An Opportunity is available to join my team of wonderful support workers who help to facilitate my daily life. My support workers assist me on a 1 to 1 basis throughout the day.

Due to some of the challenges I face, I can become elevated and raise my voice. In this instance I would like you to give me space until I am calm. I love to talk about pets, especially cats and talking about these will help me.

I am seeking a Support Worker who is wanting to join a team environment, passionate about video games. I also love watching YouTube.

Key Responsibilities:

Prompting and encouraging me with ADL’s

Support me to achieve my goals to reach my potential in all facets of my life.

Support my life skill development through proper implementation of established plans and programs to support the achievement of goal outcomes for me.

Actively engage in person centred active support.

Maintain accurate records.

Shifts
I am looking for someone to support me on a Part Time basis and commit to the below rostered shifts.

Week 1:

Wednesday 0700 -1500

Friday 1500–2300+passive (2300-0700)

Week 2:

Monday 0700-1500

Tuesday 0700-1500

Thursday 1500–2300+passive (2300-0700)

Saturday 1500–2300+passive (2300-0700)

Sunday 1500–2300+passive (2300-0700)

Week 3:

Wednesday 1500–2300+passive (2300-0700)

Friday 0700-1500

Week 4:

Monday 1500–2300+passive (2300-0700)

Tuesday 1500–2300+passive (2300-0700)

Thursday 0700-1500

Saturday 0700-1500

Sunday 0700-1500

The ideal candidate will have:

NDIS Worker Screening or DHS Disability related check

Current Driver's Licence

Current First Aid Certificate

Current CPR

Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or other relevant qualification

Manual Handling Level 2

About you:
I am looking for a creative and positive person to join my team. Other requirements:

Ability to implement individualised developmental programs.

Experience implementing positive behaviour support strategies.

Flexible working hours

Experience in various models of support preferred.

Ability to adapt quickly to changes in service delivery.
