Our client, a Federal government agency based in Civic, ACT, requires an experienced Program Manager for a long 12 + 12 month contract.

Duties

• Convert business requirements into functional designs and technical specifications including planning, scoping and testing.
• Investigate business needs, problems and opportunities and recommend effective business processes.
• Prepare or contribute to business cases which describe potential benefits.
• Documenting all stages of projects to provide a clear audit trail.
• Implementing and maintaining Essential 8 requirements.
• Undertaking high level research, horizon scanning and analysis to identify future ICT trends.
• Facilitate workshops to co-design solutions, with a focus on customer and business outcomes.
• Lead the development of specifications, conceptual solution designs and detailed designs.
• Scope, plan and manage the delivery of digital transformation initiatives-applying human centred design, service design and agile approaches.
• Identify business challenges and develop appropriate solutions.

Selection Criteria

• 10+ yrs experience in the delivery of ICT Projects in an agile environment.
• Experience in the delivery of COTS products in a cloud environment.
• Demonstrated experience in the continuous improvement of business processes & procedures.
• Ability to manage complex tasks & anticipate/escalate risks & issues.
• Strong stakeholder management skills including facilitation & influencing others.
• Experience managing the integration of program outputs and outcomes and business change to ensure achievement of planned benefits.
• Experience managing dependencies between projects and other portfolio priorities.
• Experience managing the benefits management strategy and realisation plan for the program.
