Contracts Administrator – Join a High-Performance Team

Factor Constructions is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support our growing project delivery team. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of contract management, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is an opportunity to work on diverse and high-quality projects across Queensland.

About the Role

As a Contracts Administrator, you’ll play a critical role in tendering, estimating, and contract management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing contracts, variations, and progress claims, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
• Supporting tender and estimating processes, including quoting analysis and recommendations.
• Conducting site inspections and overseeing budgets, procurement, and project schedules.
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Identifying potential risks, defects, and project delays while ensuring cost control and reporting accuracy.
• Maintaining contract documentation and reporting via Procore, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Providing strategic insights to project managers to drive financial performance and achieve target margins.

About You – Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial construction contract administration.
• Ideally Degree or Cert IV in Construction Management or Contract Administration.
• Strong understanding of contract law, project cost control, and risk management.
• Ability to read drawings, conduct quantity take-offs, and manage detailed contracts.
• Skilled in handling variations, delays, and contract claims while ensuring compliance.
• Proactive communicator and negotiator, able to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Procore and Jobpac experience highly regarded, but not essential.
