Qualifications & experience

The position offered would be casual with opportunity to move to full-time for the right candidate

Possession of a minimum Medium Rigid License is essential and must have a clean driving record

Possession of Heavy Combination is highly desirable

Must be physically fit

Must have a sound knowledge of operations of trucks

Must have sound knowledge of Toowoomba and the surrounding areas

Good communication skills

Time management skills

Be reliable and willing to learn

Police check or willing to obtain

Tasks & responsibilities

Collect and dispose of non-hazardous liquid waste across various locations throughout the Toowoomba and regional areas

Pumping of liquid waste from Grease traps, grey waters and sewerage tanks from residential and commercial customers

Operate vacuum tank trucks

Ensure all equipment used in the performance of work is safe to use & stored in a clean & correct manner and follow relevant safe work practices

Keep a clean and tidy truck

Work without supervision with the backup of a customer focused admin team

Take pride in the company’s modern fleet of vehicles

Client interaction

Prestart and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment

Perform loading and unloading duties of bulk liquid waste which involves operating a vacuum hose to remove the liquid waste from septic tanks, or any other wastewater products as well as manual labor

Must be able to follow confidential policies and procedures
