About the role

Are you passionate about supporting people with disabilities live their best lives? We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team in West Melbourne and surrounding suburbs,VIC on a part-time basis or casual basis. In this rewarding role, you'll provide personalised care and assistance to help our clients achieve their goals and live independently.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

Engaging clients in recreational and social activities to promote their wellbeing and community participation

Providing emotional support and encouragement to help clients overcome challenges

Collaborating with the client's support network, including family members and healthcare professionals

Documenting client progress and maintaining detailed records

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety standards

What we're looking for

A Certificate 4 in Individual Support or equivalent qualification or higher

Previous experience in a disability support role or similar caregiving position

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to be patient, empathetic, and adaptable

A genuine commitment to promoting the independence and quality of life of people with disabilities

A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred)

Strong Work Ethic and professionalism
