About the role
An exciting opportunity is available for a suitably qualified Grade 1 Occupational Therapist to join our physical health occupational therapy team, on a temporary full-time basis. This position is a rotational Grade 1 position and will provide the successful applicant with a vast range of OT experience in acute, subacute and community settings. The Eastern Health Occupational Therapy Service is committed to the provision of high quality, patient centred care and strongly values professional development and clinical supervision.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current occupational therapy registration with AHPRA
- A good understanding of clinical theory/practice and client-centred care
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Strong organisation and self-management skills
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
