💫 Psychologist (Part-Time) – Join a Team That Gets It 💫
Isaacs, ACT | In-Person | Part-time Position | Start Date Negotiable

✨ Do meaningful work. With people who care. In a place that feels like home.

At Evo Psychology, we’re more than just a private practice — we’re a quirky, affirming, neurodiversity- and trauma-informed clinic where inclusion, authenticity, and growth are valued. We work with a wonderfully diverse group of adolescent and adult clients, many of whom are neurodivergent and/or part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

We're now looking for a Registered or Clinical Psychologist to join our team 2–3 days per week. Our team would describe themselves as curious, compassionate, quirky, open-minded, and inclusive.

The ideal candidate will be aligned with Evo Psychology's values - we are informed, affirming, and respectful of those who are neurodivergent (formal/self diagnosed or questioning). We are kink and poly-friendly, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, culturally aware and sensitive, and sex work positive.

About our practice:

At Evo Psychology, we work with a wide range of presentations however do have a particular focus on people who have experienced trauma, who struggle with emotional regulation, and those who have issues/questions relating to sexuality and/or gender. We frequently work with individuals who have been diagnosed or self identify as neurodivergent - including but not limited to clients who are Autistic, ADHDers, AuDHDers, those who have Sensory Processing Disorders, or who feel ‘different’ in some way.

We cater to the needs of our clients as individuals, in a holistic and evidence-based way, and support each other to continue professional learning in areas of interest.

What makes this role special?

Gentle entry to private practice — we’ll support you at every step

A genuinely inclusive, warm, and quirky team that actually supports one another

Flexibility around hours and caseload, with a strong focus on burnout prevention

Meaningful work with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ clients

Access to peer consults, informal support, and ongoing clinical growth

What a day looks like for our clinical team members:
Imagine starting your day walking into an office where the atmosphere is as warm and welcoming , and is equipped with the resources and support you need to provide exceptional care. You can enjoy the range of lovely indoor plants, tea selection, coffee machine, and range of snacks for our team. Your client load and capacity are regularly discussed and reviewed (weekly informal team "allocation" meetings), with flexibility over how your day looks but also with amazing full admin support, allowing you to focus on your clients without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Between sessions, you'll join colleagues for a coffee break in one of our rooms, and/or join in on “floor lunch” with the team, sharing insights or having a quick debrief. Our team values open communication, continuous learning, and celebrates diversity in all its forms, making every day an opportunity to grow both professionally and personally. At our practice, you'll thrive in a setting that values your well-being as much as your expertise.

The awesome stuff you'll get as part of our team:

A workplace culture that encourages and facilitates balance and self care (we focus on work-life balance and team culture so we can continue providing excellent care to our clients!)

Flexibility with work hours.

Autonomy over your own bookings and client population - with support from our administration assistant/reception.

Being part of an organisation that listens to your feedback, encourages innovative ideas, and aims to assist you in thriving as a practitioner in the areas of interest you have.
