ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful candidate will work within a supportive, respectful and collaborative team culture. They will play a pivotal role in scheduling surgery, liaising with our surgeon, hospitals and anaesthetists and facilitating patient support and education, in a warm and dynamic environment.
The position is suited to a multitasker who loves helping people, thrives in a busy environment, where exceptional patient care is delivered with accuracy and initiative. Strong time management skills are integral to the role.
The full time position will be most suitable for someone with at least 2 year’s experience in a role that involved healthcare administration, coordination or leadership.
The successful applicants will be an integral part of our concierge-style team, assisting our patients and clinical teams by:
supporting patients before, during and after their surgical journey
scheduling surgery and theatre lists
liaising with patients via phone, email and in person
coordinating theatre lists
prosthesis and garment ordering
collating surgery documentation
ordering postoperative garments
answering patient questions
monitoring and evaluating patient journeys
developing and implementing patient support strategies
tracking patient data and prepare reports
the successful applicant will be a detail-oriented person who innately enjoys interacting with people.
THIS ROLE IS IDEAL FOR SOMEONE WHO IS:
a confident, driven professional who seeks a busy, fast-paced and varied work day and has an innate interest in medical administration and patient care
at a point in their career where they are prioritising advancement and growth
is passionate about the body positive, holistic, health-focus approach integral to a successful surgical journey
mature, discrete and able to work - and troubleshoot - independently
able to maintain focus and accuracy without supervision (once trained) and;
has a long term employment history; at least 2+ yrs at previous places of employment. We invest significantly in training, and building relationships with our patients, and so we are seeking someone who is looking for a long term role.
Excellent customer service skills are vital.
The successful applicant will receive extensive training in our practice management software and medical administration processes.
WORKING HOURS & BENEFITS
Permanent full time hours (38 hours/week).
We value work/life balance.
Five days per week for three weeks of each month. One four-day week per month (ie one long weekend per month).

We are a multi location practice with clinics in Brisbane and Ipswich. The advertised role is for a position that will be based in our Brisbane clinic.
Our practice offers a fresh, holistic approach to surgical and non surgical solutions for looking and feeling great. In addition to plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, we offer medical grade laser treatments, cosmetic injectables and luxury skin therapies.
