Warehouse Assistant

• Permanent role
• Day shift - 730am till 4pm (38hrs plus 2hrs overtime per week)
• $60 - $65k salary - depending on experience
• Sandringham location

The Company
Our client, based in Sandringham, is Australia’s leading supplier of food safety products, resources and commercial kitchen supplies. They supply a wide range of food labels and personal protective equipment to the hospitality, healthcare and education industries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing industry leader!

Your duties will include, but not limited to:

• Pick packing via RF and dispatching customer orders
• Maintaining stock levels and inventory control
• Invoicing
• Liaise with freight companies and ensure efficient service
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Training in purchasing - prior experience a bonus
• Palletising stock
• Receiving & despatching goods and completing appropriate documentation
• Cleaning and / or maintaining your work area
• Forklift operations (counterbalance) if licenced

To be successful, you will need to have:

• Previous experience in warehousing or logistics
• Willingness to learn purchasing and obtain a forklift licence if you don't already have it
• Basic to Intermediate computer skills
• Organisational skills
• Must be an active team member with a proactive approach
• Physically fit - be involved in manual handling

Hours & Pay Rate:
Day shift - 730am till 4pm (38hrs plus 2hrs overtime per week)
$60 - $65k salary - depending on experience
