About Our Client

WorkPac are proud to partner with our client, a leading global provider of commercial explosives and blasting systems. We are currently seeking MPU Trainees to join their team in the Hunter Valley region. This is a great opportunity for individuals wanting to kickstart a long-term career in the mining and explosives industry.

What you will be doing

Assisting in the operation of Mobile Processing Units (MPU) on mine sites

Supporting blast crew with safe and timely delivery of bulk explosives

Following all safety procedures and site protocols

Participating in training to obtain necessary licenses and competencies

What you will need

Current C Class Driver’s Licence

Ability to pass a 043 Coal Board Medical and regular drug and alcohol testing

Strong commitment to safety and a willingness to learn

Must be willing to obtain at own cost:

HR Truck Licence

UHL (Explosives) Licence
