The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounts/Receivable Officer to join the Finance team of a well-known retail brand. Working closely with another Accounts Officer, this role is responsible for managing incoming customer payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the business through effective accounts receivable operations and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily reconciliation of customer payments across multiple entities and revenue channels
• Timely and accurate reconciliation of bank accounts
• Proactive investigation and resolution of discrepancies
• Management of the AR inbox, responding to queries and following up on outstanding accounts
• Maintenance of a well-managed aging report and strong relationships with external stakeholders
• Preparation of monthly reconciliations and posting of journals as required
• Collaboration with internal teams, including Retail Operations and Wholesale, to ensure all requirements are met
• Processing of refunds, staff incentives, and support with year-end audit samples
• Accurate data entry into NetSuite

Key Requirements:

• 1–2 years’ experience in a transactional finance or accounts receivable role
• Prior experience with Netsuite
• Sound understanding of bank reconciliation principles
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a strong customer service mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office tools
• Experience with NetSuite is highly desirable
