About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Support Officer to join our team at Track Protection Services in Nambour, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the financial health and operations of our organisation.

Please note: Only candidates who have permanent work rights with no restrictions in Australia from the Sunshine Coast area will be considered.

What you'll be doing

Providing comprehensive accounting and financial support services, including accounts payable and receivable processing, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting

Processing timesheets and invoices

Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements

Performing data entry tasks and maintaining accurate financial records

Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve financial queries and discrepancies

Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes

Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems

Office hours : Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm

What we're looking for

Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting support role

Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent numerical and analytical skills, proficiency in using financial software and systems, and effective communication and stakeholder management abilities

Software: Experience with MYOB or similar finance system

Personal qualities: Proactive, organised, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team
