A prominent National engineering consultancy well-known to WA (circa-70 staff) are looking for a new member to join their team in their centrally located office near trainline.

About the role and about you
The client will ideally engage an experienced Accounts Assistant, with proven ERP experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Microsoft Excel.

'Nice to have' includes existing engineering industry experience performing a similar role. Odoo and Employment Hero.

Day-to-day matters will span:

• Providing accounts administrative support, including database entry (AP/AR)
• Allocation of invoices for approval and follow up
• Preparation of vendor batches
• Month end reporting & data entry assistance
• Ensuring customer and supplier queries are followed up and answered in a timely manner
• Monthly timesheet & mileage claim reports for payroll Support team & Accounts inbox management / actioning Credit card reconciliation
• Work closely with the Office Manager and attend regular meetings
• Assisting with maintaining internal project software platforms including auditing tasks to ensure data integrity

As this is a newly created role, there is also scope for additional responsibilities as it shapes and based on your existing experience. This is a full time working from office role but offers time flexibility of start/ finish, and should you need to go off to an appointment etc. and make up time, no worries.

The client is significantly motivated to engage the right person and will negotiate a salary based on experience and capabilities, circa $75 - 85k + superannuation.
