Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team. As a Clinical Psychologist at Antidote Health, you will work closely with patients seeking mental health support, often in conjunction with other natural therapies & treatments. You will conduct assessments, provide therapy, and offer guidance tailored to each patient's needs—all through telehealth consultations. This is an excellent opportunity to work remotely while making a meaningful impact on patients' mental health and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments and develop personalised treatment plans for patients.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, and other modalities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners and consultan specialists, to ensure holistic care.
- Offer mental health support for patients managing chronic conditions such as anxiety, PTSD, and chronic pain.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with clinic policies and legal requirements.
- Deliver consultations via telehealth platforms, ensuring accessible and patient-centered care.
- Educate patients about the potential psychological benefits and limitations of natural therapy treatment as part of their broader care plan.
Requirements:
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
- Full registration as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
- At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally with experience in telehealth or remote therapy.
- Strong understanding of psychological conditions such as anxiety, PTSD, depression, and chronic pain.
- Familiarity or willingness to learn about the therapeutic use of medicinal cannabis.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- High level of organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems is a plus.
