The role

We’re looking for an experienced reward specialist to join the team for 12 months to lead our ER, IR and Reward strategy while managing a team of specialists.

In this role, you will provide expert advice on complex people matters, ensure legal compliance, influence business decisions, and build strong partnerships—all while shaping performance, recognition and reward across our advanced agile organisation.

Lead, coach and develop a team of ER & Reward Specialists

Oversee compliance with employment legislation, industrial instruments and broader employment law matters

Provide expert advice to leaders on complex ER/IR issues, structural changes, and business initiatives—including the application of our reward framework

Contribute to the strategic direction of our ER, IR, Reward, Recognition and Performance strategies

Build trusted, solutions-focused partnerships with external agencies supporting our ER/IR/Reward agenda

Monitor emerging ER/IR risks and opportunities and provide commercial, practical recommendations

Own and evolve our suite of people policies to stay current and business-aligned

What’s in your toolkit

Deep expertise in ER, IR, and Reward across complex organisations

Strong working knowledge of employment law and industrial relations

Experience advising senior leaders on high-risk people matters and organisational change

A proven ability to lead high-performing teams

A commercial mindset and pragmatic approach to problem solving

Exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills
