Position Overview: We are currently hiring for the position of full-time and casual Grocery Stock Hand. The available roles primarily involve stocking shelves with grocery items and assisting customers at the register. Prior experience is not mandatory though preferred. We do also provide comprehensive training. We are also looking for candidates interested in advancing their careers, with the future potential to fulfil one of many supervisory roles.

Responsibilities:

Stocking shelves with grocery items in a timely and efficient manner to ensure shelves are well-maintained and fully stocked throughout the day. As well as working on pallets and small deliveries.

Assisting customers at the register by scanning items, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service.

Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the checkout area and surrounding aisles.

Collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow during peak hours.

Demonstrating a strong understanding of product locations and assisting customers with inquiries or locating items as needed.

Following all safety protocols to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.

Requirements:

Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods.

Is physically fit, energetic and always presents a can do attitude.

Willingness to learn and adapt to changing tasks and priorities.

Flexibility in scheduling, with the availability to work full-time hours as needed.

Register training will be provided; however, prior experience is always a plus.
