Senior Legislative Trainer for State Gov| Legal Qualifications required | Present, maintain and develop training material to small groups of staff | 6month contract

The Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Legislative Trainer (AO6) to join their growing team on a 6-month contract, with the potential for becoming permanent or an ongoing contract.
In this role, you will work closely with various teams within the department to provide continuous learning/training regarding legislation relevant to the various team members. This will include presenting, maintaining and developing the training modules. Mostly face to face training in small teams of up to 10-15 people.
An insight into the key responsibilities associated with this role includes:
- Develop, maintain and deliver training courses and sessions on the legislation
- Ensure technical accuracy and relevance of legislative training content and liaise with division staff as required
- Work collaboratively with division staff to identify legislative training needs for the organisation
- Actively support and guide managers and supervisors who provide on-the-job training to staff to strengthen legislative capability across the department
- Establish, enhance and manage effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
About You
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Law degree is preferrable
- High level ability to understand, translate and apply legislation and case law
- Engaging communication skills
- Ability to develop and deliver training modules
- Strong written communication skills
