THE OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $74,742 - $80,407 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.
Location: Moorabbin and Bourke Street campuses.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Contract of appointment to 31/10/2025.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Faculty Placement & Partnership Officer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and coordinating clinical placements for students within the department, ensuring high-quality learning experiences. You will also assist with the coordination of a dedicated team of clinical facilitators to support students throughout their placements. A key part of the role involves developing and maintaining strong partnerships with industry stakeholders, helping to create valuable opportunities for clinical work placements.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and secure clinical placements for students, liaising with placement facilities and ensuring agreements are in place.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with placement providers, supporting partnership development initiatives.
- Conduct risk assessments on placement venues and ensure compliance with Practical Placement Agreement conditions.
- Provide on-call support for student issues during placements, including after-hours and weekend availability.
- Assist in the recruitment, orientation, and support of Clinical Placement Facilitators, maintaining accurate documentation.
ABOUT YOU
- Bring broad clinical knowledge of the nursing profession, with an understanding of clinical placements and the current challenges in securing opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical education, work placement coordination, and providing high-level customer service to a range of stakeholders.
- Strong skills in building partnerships with industry providers and supporting students throughout their clinical placement journeys.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High proficiency in MS Office and database systems, with strong organisational, problem-solving, and record - keeping abilities.
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Nursing and registration with AHPRA (Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse); a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) is desirable.
