We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager/Construction Manager to join our Property Team specializing in the ongoing construction and refurbishment of our properties including Private Hospitals in NSW and VIC.

You will be responsible for overseeing projects valued between $1M - $90M and working closely with the Chief Executive and the Property Team ensuring projects are well managed, within budget and maintaining a high-quality standard of work.

The ideal candidate will be Sydney based with ability to travel to all our sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Oversee the full project life cycle for new works, including planning, execution and completion

· Oversee all Groups construction works as the superintendent

· Identify & Rectify any issues with the building design prior to construction

· Assist with the design process

· Meet Project Deadlines

· Meeting budget Constraints and preparing monthly reports

· Liaise Coordinate with builders and consultants

· Communicate will all stake holders

· Ensure minimal to no contract variations

· Prepare & organise development applications

· Participate and oversee existing buildings needed to maintain operations

· Assist in supporting existing buildings, upgrades, expansions and related works

MUST HAVE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

· Tertiary Qualifications In Building / Construction Management

· Health Sector experience with knowledge of AHFG & Ministry of Health Standards and Guidelines

· Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics;

· Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation;

· Ability to work in a team and independently.

· 5 years experience within a contractor

Preparation, submission and lodgement of applications including SEARS, SSD, CDC and DA

Knowledge of AHFG & Ministry of Health Standards and Guidelines

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft 365 Outlook, Excel, Teams, AutoCAD and Acconex

ABOUT YOU

Minimum of 10 years experience in the construction industry

Preferred experience in a similar Health Care Construction role

Must have own vehicle for travel between sites
