Permanent, Part-time Opportunity
The Salary range for this position is currently $40.46 to $51.75 per hour. Hourly rate is based on experience. The Hiring manager requires Part-Time Registered Nurses to work PM and Night duty.
Benefits:
We offer 5 weeks annual leave, generous salary sacrificing options, flexible hours, and opportunities for professional development and growth. If you live and work in areas identified as remote areas by the ATO you will be able to salary package 50% of your mortgage interest, rent, fuels (electricity and gas bills), or the purchase cost of a home above the standard salary packaging amount ($15,900 annually).
Lastly, Churches of Christ are offering a generous Sign on and Retention cash bonus of up to $8000.
You will be eligible for the following cash bonuses:
- $1000 on sign on - paid after third fortnight
- $1500 after 6 months
- $2500 after 12 months
- $3000 after 24 months.
For part-time employees, this amount will be paid on a pro-rata basis based on the ordinary hours of work during the period.

About You

Essential Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration: Ensures you are qualified and meet the professional standards to provide nursing care in Australia.
- First Aid and CPR certification: Demonstrates your readiness to respond to emergencies effectively.
- Experience in aged care or similar settings: While not mandatory, familiarity with aged care equips you to handle the unique challenges of this environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current Driver’s licence, possess a National Police Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check – or the ability to acquire.
- Undergo a National Personal Insolvency Check.
Desirable Attributes:
- Postgraduate qualifications in gerontology, dementia care, or a related field are an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy to connect with residents and their families.
- A proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and professional growth.
