About the role

Wauchope Little Learners' are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team on a contract basis. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 6 weeks- 30 months in our Centre located in Wauchope, NSW.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing engaging and developmentally-appropriate educational programs that foster children's physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth for children aged 6 weeks to 30 months, that is, babies to toddler years.

Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to tailor learning experiences to individual needs

Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families and the wider community

Ensuring a safe, clean and nurturing environment for all children in your care

Working collaboratively with the educational team to share ideas and best practices

Upholding the Centre's policies, procedures and quality standards

What we're looking for

Relevant early childhood education qualification (e.g. Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care)

Experience working in an early childhood education and care setting and prepared to work flexible hours from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families

Enthusiasm, creativity and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young children

Current First Aid and CPR certificates, and a valid Working With Children Check
