ABOUT THE ROLE

This Senior Management Accountant role will take ownership of the P+L for 2 key contracts within a critical Division of this company. This is a contract role covering a BAU permanent position, however, given the size and breadth of this enviable company, it's a great way to get your foot in the door!
Key responsibilities of the role include:

• All month-end activities including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations as well as variance analysis and commentary
• Take ownership of all day-to-day financial requirements
• Continue to update the Forecast and drive forecasting activities as required as per the normal forecast schedule/process
• Invoicing as required per the existing long term contracts
• Involvement in financial modelling in particular around the existing contracts
• All reporting and analysis requirements as per key business stakeholder requirements
• Other ad hoc requirements as they arise

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• CA or CPA qualified
• Degree in Accounting/Finance or similar
• Experience in an end-to-end management accounting role ideal
• Business partnering and strong communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills necessary
• Exposure to complex contracts and engineering services/construction industries ideal
• Experience with a large ERP system such as SAP
• Must have a strong attention to detail and organisation skills
