ABOUT US

Grindstone Barbers are an old school barbers’ shop with a modern setup. We specialise in cutting and styling men’s hair, beard grooming, skin fades and of course the traditional cutthroat shave, all delivered by a team of highly experienced barbers. Come on in, write your name on the chalkboard and enjoy some great tunes, a cold beverage and the Grindstone experience.

We’re hiring for multiple locations across Victoria. Choose to work from either:

• Geelong
• Waurn Ponds
• Belmont
• Casey
• Mornington

ABOUT THE ROLES

Ideally, we’re looking for Barbers experienced in all areas of barbering, however if you’re a Qualified Hairdresser (or 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice) that’s keen to learn, we’d love to hear from you, too.

Hours:

• Full time / Part time – Flexible hours.
• Contract hours available.
• We’re flexible to provide later starts / earlier finishes if wanted.
• Flexible employment arrangement.

Remuneration:

(1) Choose to work as an employee: $28 - $35 per hour (permanent rate of pay) + superannuation or,

(2) Choose to work as a subcontractor:

• Work up to 38 hours a week, you choose how many hours you want to work.
• No need to bring your own clientele – we have a full list just waiting for you.
• We pay you 50% of your turnover PLUS we pay you Super on top of this, the sky’s the limit with your earning potential!
