The Company:

PSA (Plastic Solutions Australia Pty Ltd) provides exceptional service to the building and construction industry offering consumable products for the concrete (precast/ tilt-up) and formwork markets.

Working from our division located in Kwinana WA, our business supplies casting, lifting and bracing accessories to the tilt-up building industry throughout Western Australia.

We are seeking to fill a vacancy in our business of a Yard Worker/labourer, general warehouse assistant.

This position will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the yard, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with various tasks as needed. Able to operate various yard equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, handheld tools and welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the safe storage of yard equipment

Maintain a neat and clean environment

Safely loading and unloading of goods

Assist with the accurate counting and recording of stock.

Store unloaded goods in their correct location, and ensure they do not obstruct essential services, such as exits, fire extinguishers etc.

Maintain a neat and clean environment both in the warehouse and yard areas, and removal all rubbish immediately after a task has been completed.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Suggested Qualifications:

WA Manual Driver's License (essential you hold a manual licence)

LF Forklift License

Minimum school leaving level with an ability to competently read, write and basic mathematics

Experience:

Experience in a warehouse environment and the use of a forklift

Mig Welding experience (advantage but not essential)

Skills and Competencies:

Time Management Skills: accomplish objectives and tasks effectively within the time frame given

Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
