The Department of Children and Families provides support services across child protection, domestic and family violence, multicultural affairs and senior’s recognition. As the Executive Director, Quality Assurance and Improvement, your primary objective is to provide strategic leadership and support that will foster a culture of continuous improvement across the agency to uplift performance and achieve better outcomes. You will achieve this by overseeing a quality assurance and monitoring program for the Agency, non-government organisations and Aboriginal community-controlled services.
Your key duties will include developing and implementing a quality assurance and improvement framework that captures, monitors and reports on the recommendations of relevant investigations.
In addition, you will oversee the resolution of complaints and investigations, ensuring legal risks are identified and addressed, and advancing the capability of the Agency and service providers to enhance the client experience and improve the lives of Territorians.
To meet the challenges of this strategic role you require, executive level leadership within a contemporary complex service-delivery environment with the superior ability to understand and interpret business metrics that identify early opportunities to direct QA interventions.
Proven cultural competence and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with sound understanding of planning, performance and project management, risk management and mitigation, and the ability to navigate a complex legal/legislative environment is essential.
