The Opportunity:

We seek an Engineering Technologist to optimize our packaging systems, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance with retail partner requirements. This role will focus on equipment innovation, process automation, and sustainable packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Packaging System Optimization:

Maintain and calibrate high-speed packaging machinery (e.g., stick packers, pouch fillers, tin cappers) to minimize downtime and maximize output.

Implement predictive maintenance protocols using PLC/IoT tools to ensure 24/7 operational readiness.

Technical Innovation:

Quality & Compliance:

Cross-Functional Leadership:

Train production teams on SOPs for advanced machinery (e.g., horizontal flow wrappers, blister packing systems).

Essential Criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

5+ years in industrial equipment maintenance/optimization, preferably in FMCG, food packaging, or contract manufacturing sectors.

Proven expertise in:

Packaging machinery (e.g., fillers, sealers, labeling systems) and automation tools.

Reducing production downtime by 20%+ through predictive maintenance.

Technical documentation (e.g., SOPs, compliance reports).

Proficiency in CAD software, PLC systems, and lean manufacturing principles.

Desirable Skills:
