About the opportunity

We have exciting opportunities available for Bush Regeneration, Restoration, and Vegetation Management Field Team Members across multiple casual positions in North Queensland.

Working on a range of land conservation projects, you’ll assist with tasks such as weed control, revegetation planting, and equipment maintenance. This is a fully field-based role, so you’ll need to be comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

We are seeking a mix of candidates—from those building their career in vegetation management to experienced field workers ready to take the next step. For the right candidates, there are pathways to develop into Team Leader roles, offering career progression and leadership development opportunities.

About you

To be successful in the role, the following are desirable but not essential:

Certificate I, II or III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management

Experience/ interest in identification of both native flora and invasive species

Chemical application accreditation/ ACDC Licence

General Construction Induction Card (White Card)

4WD and towing experience or tickets

Ability to read a map

Relevant tickets or experience with the operation and maintenance of equipment such as zero-turn mowers, chainsaws, brush-cutters, and tractors

The following are required:

Unrestricted Car Licence

Ability to pass a police check

Ability to work unsupervised

Be physically fit and able to undertake labour intensive work

Be reliable, hard working and have a strong safety culture
