Total Remuneration $92,833 to $104,427 pa (including salary of $78,446 to $88,243 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

Join the Indigenous Engagement Division to support the delivery of key initiatives that strengthen Indigenous engagement. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in implementing targeted pathways projects designed to increase the participation and retention of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at CQUniversity. Your work will involve meaningful engagement with students and the broader community, providing essential operational support to drive these outcomes.

Position Requirements

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and societies, and the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.

An understanding of equity and social justice principles.

Knowledge of or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of the Indigenous Student Success Program (ISSP) and its current guidelines.

Knowledge and proficiency in the operation of Microsoft Office Software (email, spreadsheeting, word processing), web browsers and online Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of CQUniversity’s policies, procedures, and current legislation relevant to the higher education sector.

Have completed an associate diploma level qualification with relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training (Desirable).
